History at Collingwood

At Collingwood, we ensure that history provides opportunities for pupils to understand different people’s lives and how this has changed over time. We look at the diversity of societies and relationships between different eras.

In Key Stage 1, pupils will study the past and understand the concept of this. They will look at the similarities and differences of life in different periods.

In Key Stage 2, pupils will continue to look at British, Local and World history using their chronological skills. Pupils will research, question, investigate and study relevant historical information.
