Welcome to Collingwood Primary School

Collingwood Primary School is an outstanding school located in the heart of Hull. We are an inclusive school that values and celebrates individuality and differences. Pupils at Collingwood thrive in a multicultural society made up of children from upwards of 35 countries.

Our school is part of Hull Collaborative Academy Trust. HCAT is a restorative academy and we work in a highly collaborative way. Our pupils and staff work hard to uphold the restorative and collaborative principles which have been developed throughout our organisation.

At HCAT we believe that Children come first and our staff  “go the extra mile” in the pursuit of excellence.  In line with these principles we work hard to provide our children with the outstanding education that they deserve.

Our Value Statement

Children at Collingwood Primary School are restorative.

Through our actions and strong leadership, we show that we are

caring, that we have courage

and that we act responsibly.

We are aspirational and we work hard.

Hull Collaborative Academy Trust

We are proud to be part of Hull Collaborative Academy Trust (HCAT). We are a family of schools who collaborate, challenge and support each other to provide outstanding provision for the children and communities that we serve.

It was recently our 4th birthday and every child in each school contributed to a school jigsaw piece that, when fitted together, represents HCAT.

What did they say?

We are very lucky to have visitors from both the UK and from all over the world. The visitors love to come and look around our school, join us in our class circles and enjoy talking with children and staff. Visitors comment on the exceptional behaviour of pupils, the calm, purposeful atmosphere, and how well pupils are able to clearly articulate strategies used to both build relationships and resolve conflict.
